Who's who

	Ian Lowes has returned as our principal conductor. Ian previously worked with the St.Aldhelms orchestra from 1999 to 2003. He has a busy professional career as a horn player, conductor and composer, and also works for the music examination board.

	Leader: Anna Tyrrell Anna took over the orchestra leaders role in 2013. She grew up in this area, but having completed her music studies, she spent several years in Spain, where she taught music, violin and English, as well as performing and recording. She returned to the UK in 2009, and is head of music at Broadstone Middle School. In 2017 she performed 'The lark ascending' with the orchestra.

Committee:
The orchestra is administered by a committee, elected annually from the members.
