We enjoy our running, but reckon the social side of things is just as important (if not more so?)

Post-exercise coffee is served in all weathers by our esteemed coffee-ladies Di and Madge.

We do appreciate having the option for various levels of exertion on the Tuesday and Thursday mornings....
spot the orchid Nowadays, we have attracted a proper elite group of faster runners who hare off for at least 10 miles.

Various "middle" running groups are led at a more social pace for about 1½ hours (unless we find ourselves on an unexpected diversion when we spot an interesting new muddy track).

On days when this seems like too much, there is a choice of walking groups (but these are only for ex-runners from NFR)

When we have really overdone things (like after a marathon), or are recovering from injury, we can join a "remedial group", on a gentle excursion in appreciation of the flora and fauna.
Xmas party A highlight of the Mudlarks social calendar is the Xmas party, usually held at the "Rising Sun". About 60 regulars, including partners and friends, gather for a celebratory lunch. Xmas party
